Try Something New Tuesday
08/02/2011

I feel like some days I am running out of things to write about. My thought process, always logical and planning, came up with having a theme for each day. Marvelous Mondays kind of fell into my lap. Write on Wednesdays I found while blog hopping. I've dedicated Thursdays to My Happiness Project updates. This leaves Tuesdays and Fridays without a theme. After much thought, the above phrase kept repeating through my head. So Tuesdays will be Try Something New Tuesday. The next fun part is that I am open to suggestions! I would love it if everyone would leave me a note of ideas for new things to try. Let's not go crazy though...I won't be jumping out of or off of anything nor risking life and limb for my blog. I have to draw some sort of line.

For this first effort, I am going to keep it simple. I am going to go purchase a pomegranate after work. I have no clue as to how to eat this little ditty nor what exactly I am in for. I'll add to this post later in the day. Wish me luck!

Update: Apparently, poms are difficult to find these days although myChad says they are growing outside of the JCPenney corporate office. After three stores, I opted for the Pom Wonderful 100% juice. Darby said, "It tastes like really tart strawberries." I think it's what I imagined red wine would taste like before I actually tasted red wine.  Hubby dearest made a face that made me wish I had a camera stuck to my head. I don't think he liked it.

  2. Yum, pomegranate seeds. Those little bits of heaven explode in your mouth and taste so wonderfully sweet. Careful though, they can dye your skin!
